Spanish comedies get most nominations at the FEROZ® Awards

(photo: Elena Marqués)

The Spanish comedies ‘Three Many Weddings’ and ‘Witching and Bitching’ have obtained  7 nominations each at the FEROZ® Awards announced today in Madrid.

For the first time AICE, an association of Spanish cinematographic informers, has announced the nominations to its newly created awards: FEROZ®.  At the press conference hold this morning we have met  actress Alexandra Jiménez and director and screenwriter, Paco Cabezas, both in charge of the FEROZ Gala Night; Adenai Pérez, Chief of Patrocinios y Mecenazgo de Gas Natural Fenosa; Álvaro Marín, responsible of Communication of Callao City Lights; and the President of AICE, David Carrón.

This list will give us an idea of what we can expect of this year´s Goya® Awards nominations.

Here the difference is that we can choose between comedy and drama and also this bright idea of voting for the best trailers, sometimes way much better than the films themselves.

The winners will be announced at the Gala Night in January 27th and I´ll be reporting live from Madrid.
