XIX José María Forqué Awards, handed out by the Association of Spanish Producers, EGEDA, are the first in the run up to the Goya® Awards.

La Herida takes a little advantage winning Best Film and Best Actress, Marian Álvarez, whereas Eduard Fernández (All The Women) won the Best Actor Award.

In recent years, winners of the Forqué awards ended up winning also the Goya Awards. This year, La Herida also won the Special Jury Award at the last San Sebastian Film Festival. And let´s remember that in the past 4 years this who wins the Silver Shell for Best Actress in San Sebastian wins Best Actress or New Actress at the Goyas®. During the Gala, Agustín Almodóvar received from his brother, Academy Award Winner, Pedro Almodóvar, the EGEDA´s Gold Medal.
